MAYOR DEBORAH ROBERTSON PRESENTS
THE 3RD ANNUAL RIALTO “DROP IN” JAZZ FESTIVAL
Rialto, California – February 10, 2015 - In appreciation of International Jazz Month, the City of Rialto will be hosting the 3rd Annual “Drop in” Jazz Festival, presented by Mayor Deborah Robertson.
Intertwining jazz and art, this one day festival will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2015, beginning at 12 noon inside Frisbie Park, 598 E. Easton St. Rialto, CA 92376. The festival will showcase a wide array of jazz talent with performances and activities that feature an “All-Star” band, smooth R&B, the City’s finest food vendors and a wine and beer garden.
The Rialto “Drop in” Jazz Festival is now managed and produced by the Rialto Youth Collaborative, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed in 2004 to provide opportunities that strengthen lifelong academic and social skills for the youth of Rialto. Funds raised through this event will provide financial support to RYC initiatives, which include the development of Visual and Performing Arts Education in the City of Rialto, and the purchase of new instruments for performing arts programs.
The festival staff and advisory committee work throughout the year to raise the balance of operating costs through corporate partnerships, contributions, and planned ticket sales.
The Festival staff is seeking your help to benefit the non-profit Rialto Youth Collaborative (RYC). You can help by purchasing a ticket, becoming a sponsor, a vendor or a volunteer. Please contact or call the Rialto Youth Collaborative, 150 S. Palm Avenue, Rialto, CA 92376, (909) 820-2544. All donations are tax deductible: Federal Tax-ID #16-1670590.
