Sunset on Sierra

The event, “Sunset on Sierra,” is being held in collaboration with the City of Fontana, SANBAG and MSRC. It is an open streets event and active transportation demo project aimed at promoting walking and biking. The public will have the opportunity to experience and provide feedback on temporary installations of protected bike lanes, crossing treatments and parklets.  The event is part of the Go Human active transportation safety and education campaign, which aims to increase the number of people walking and biking and decrease collisions. The speaking engagement will take place from 7:00 pm – 7:30 pm. We do anticipate some media there. Expected attendance is 4,000 over the course of the evening.
